1. What Quote Unpack does
Quote Unpack analyses documents you provide and highlights differences, missing information, discrepancies and questions that may be useful to check with the relevant supplier. It compares information available in the documents and does not independently verify supplier information or inspect the goods, services or work described.
2. Automated analysis
The service uses automated and AI-assisted analysis. Results can contain errors, omissions, misunderstandings or other inaccuracies. We do not guarantee that every difference, inclusion, exclusion, allowance, specification, price, warranty, timeframe or other condition will be identified or interpreted correctly.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking the original quotes and confirming important details directly with the relevant supplier before accepting a quote or making a purchase decision. This includes price, GST, inclusions, exclusions, allowances, specifications, warranties, timeframes, assumptions and variations.
4. No professional advice
Quote Unpack does not determine whether a quote is fair or good value and does not provide legal, financial, building, engineering, trade, insurance or other specialist advice. Where a decision involves material risk or specialist judgement, obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
5. Documents and information
You must only upload documents you are authorised to use. Avoid uploading unnecessary personal, financial, identity or other sensitive information. Documents are processed by Quote Unpack and third-party technology providers used to operate the service, including AI processing and payment providers.
6. Payments and credits
Quote Unpack offers one-off comparison credit packages. There is no subscription unless explicitly stated at checkout. A purchased credit package can be used for Quote Unpack comparisons in the browser used to buy it. Unused credits can be moved to another browser by signing in with the email address used at checkout. One credit is consumed when a comparison is unlocked. An unlocked report is available on the website for 7 days after payment; download the PDF to keep a copy. Prices shown at checkout are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.
7. Refunds and consumer rights
If a paid comparison cannot be delivered because of a service failure, contact us using the support details published on the service. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quote Unpack is not responsible for losses arising from relying on an automated comparison instead of checking the underlying quotes or obtaining appropriate professional advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights you have under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms when the service or its pricing, features or data practices change. The current version published on this page applies to your use of the service at the relevant time.
